    HI.
okay, i understand.
so will develop the project plans, and maybe you can help out, as having
problems with calculations.
and had done some of the projects, say for chapter 3 and 4, but nothing yet
for the exercises in chapter 5, etc.
so, if that is okay, do not spend hours on it, as you have a living to make,
as i explained to you, my unique position.
and needing your help, as we have been doing.
so will fix the food project, and will give you the project plan for the
recording project.
it is mainly the calcualtions, that are not working.
have got an interface.
so, maybe not spend hours, but may be 20 minutes a day max, to help me out.
sorry about that.
okay, might ask on the lists, see if any one can help.
and specific questions.
okay, thanks for that.
sorry about that.
talk to you soon.

Subject: Re: database problems with jaws in vb

I would have to pull it from the Recycle Bin, I delete any attachments I get
automatically unless I am expecting one.
Also, I really do not have time to work on other peoples projects. I can
answer questions if I know the answers but just can not spend several hours
each day working on projects or researching problems. If you have specific
questions ask and I will try and help but can not spend the time necessary
to help in the way you want. I'm sorry and wish I could help but just do not
have that kind of time. If I did I would be developing scripts for Visual
Studio and writing white papers on accessibility for peer publications as
part of a full time job. That is what is really required in the blind
programming community but nobody is doing that. So, we just live with
struggling to find our own individual work-arounds for all the problems we
encounter. For example, suppose I develop some really good scripts for
Visual Studio and Sql Server Manager. It would be a full-time job to write
them and keep them up to date. Since I would only sell a few copies per year
I would have to charge perhaps $1000 per copy to make enough money to
survive. Would you buy a pscript package for $1000 and perhaps $100 per year
for updates? Then another $1000 every time a new version of Visual Studio
comes out? As for working with you on projects that is just like us working
together on projects requireing 2 or more programmers. That entails allot of
coordination and time which I do not have for working on educational
projects and would not charge you anything even if I could make the time,
just can't make the time. This is exactly why others do not offer this type
of help either. Most serious educational programs require a blind person to
get heavy tutorial help to work with accessibility issues as well as
learning languages and project solution procedures in general and nobody can
make a living doing that because there is just not enough demand for that
kind of service. Everybody wants that kind of support but by the time
someone gets experienced enough to provide that kind of help they have to
spend full time making money and there is no money in accessibility except
at the JAWS or Windoweyes or Microsoft offices. There are a few independent
script developers for jaws but they are expensive, hundreds of dollars for
good scripts as I mentioned and none for Visual Studio as It is a much
larger project which would not be cost effective to produce. Anyway, ask
questions but I am not going to work directly on projects, I thought about
trying to do that to help but just do not have the time.
Sorry, I really am sorry, I mean it but it is what it is and I have to get
back to my own projects. I will help with projects as I have been helping
but can't do more than that.
