As near as I can remember, java access bridge is an install
requirement on the mac if you want openoffice to talk when you use it.
I'm pretty sure java access bridge first got working on Unix systems
then got ported over to windows.

Subject: Java Access Bridge

There has been some discussion on this list about the java access bridge
and java in general lately. I was digging through the executable online
and noticed that the source code was embedded. Just out of curiosity,
has anyone tried porting the access bridge to other environments (e.g.,
linux, mac, 64 bit windows)?

Just curious,

Stefik
