Actually, forget that. Can you simply provide some proof that this is happening?

Here's something super simple. Run spybot S&D, and simply copy/paste the 
automatic message that will come up when bing.com
supposedly modifies your startup page.

If you're willing, then we can submit this to a variety of tech blogs. I'm sure 
they'll be fascinated. As well as to Microsoft
security, since you are claiming that they are straight up lying, and that's 
always a good story.

Sorry, but using ie8 and have seen it done on a few others. Only when 
going to sites that use or have anything to do with Microsoft.
