Jim:

Easy to solve.

4 foot of 4 x 2 up your back, and some duct tape around your forehead
to keep your head back. (Smile)

Seriously though, I think you should speak to someone who specialises
in this area.

George.

Doreen:

It's more of the fact that my head slowly dips / drifts downwards. It
has begun to affect my neck in the sense it is aching by the end of
the day.

I weight train three to five times a week so it isn't related to
having fatigued neck muscles.

I'm completely without sight so the monitor isn't the issue either.

Dale's message yesterday looks promising. I really began to notice the
issue when I was forced to use head phones all day.

Hi Jim

I am not quite sure I understand your problem.

How is the situation affecting your work? Are you going home with
aches and pains you wish you did not have? Do you think this looks
unprofessional? Is it interfering with your work?

Are you having trouble holding your head up because your neck is
getting tired?

Do you for instance have a laptop and work visually part of the time?
I do work visually some of the time and even when I have a laptop also
need a monitor at a height appropraite for my height which is several
inches above where my laptop screen would be.

Do you have some issue where the chair is uncomfortable or too
comfortable? I know people who sit on giant inflatable balls just to
make their lower body work. I know people who have chairs that look
like the bottom of a massage chairs with place for knees that are
different from just straight vertical. I even know people who swear by
a treadmill desk with the treadmill moving about 1mph while they stand
/ walk. That sounds cool to me as far as knowing I am getting exercise
but I am not sure how it works as far as focusing ontasks.

NO idea wheter any of this sounds helpful but maybe if you describe
your problem some more, other thoughts will come to mind.

Best
