For audio games, I think you need to know a big of geometry to be
efficient: represent things in a coordinate space, basic vector
calculations, trigonometry, etc.
If you like to make a true 3D audio game, you might also need matrix
transformation.
All this depends on the kind of audio game you are going to do: if you
want to make something that includes quite realistic phiysic, you will
need it; if you aim on arcade style games, you don't need that all.
