A Service is not going to run unless it is available through one of the
Services menus. I studied on this demo for some time without getting anywhere
with it. A service declares itself in it's info.plist. For creating services I
usually use the now abandoned freeware ThisService by WaffleSoftware
<http://wafflesoftware.net/> which, BTW, allows you to set an icon.
It should 'just work'; you shouldn't have to tinker with it! I think you're
going to have to contact Mr. Thordarson if you want to get this to function at
all. Depending on what it does, a Service can work with or without any input
but it still should show up in one of the Services menus. A service that counts
words should appear in Services when you select text.

I may just have to break down and ask Sveinbjorn.
