With a paid site, and a reliable host like GoDaddy, you have complete control over what's stored, you can make folders and links to your files, set up security and have lots of other flexibility. Your files would be available without fear of a host disappearing or changing its rules, and the speed would be satisfactory to all. If you're anticipating a very large demand (lots of file transfers), you might have to spend more;I'm not exactly sure what your plans are. You'll need a domain name, and you can get www.davidgrossman.info (for example) for $2.99 All web hosts have site building software that's easy to use, or I'll set you up a simple table you can build on if you want. Aside form the cost, which seems minimal to me, this is the way to go if reliability is an important factor.
