Thank you, gentlemen. I tried Peter's solution and it worked like a charm. I 
even changed the value to 0 (zero) and not one url is showing on the down 
arrow. I'd say that is maximum privacy. I don't know how it happened but the 
value before changing it was 12. Nice to know that I can now bring it up to 
something more reasonable. I would try Clint's suggestion but note that the 
problem is not with the History, but with the URL bar. Right now moving to 
that History folder would be difficulty as I'm having some trouble with 
making all file/folders visible. That will be my next problem to post. 
Notwithstanding all this, the computer is working fine. PS: Thanks for the 
Firefox/Foxfire correction, Clint. There are some pages on the internet 
discussing that common spelling error people make. Just as an example ...
