Data Sources (ODBC) is where you go when running a database on your system usually basic databases like those included in office suites, though I have in the past run an sql database with ODBC, I haven't used .NET framework (configuration and wizards) but I have needed it to run applications written in .NET before, same goes for Component Services (which is something for programmers), Event viewer and Performance are great monitoring tools, and Computer Management is invaluable too.
