Just open the folder and look at them. ;-) You can't harm
anything by just **looking** at them. The only ones of any
real use for most users is "Services" and the "Event Viewer".
You know what Services are, and the EV can be useful for
checking out error messages. I use the term "useful" very
lightly. More often than not, it's some cryptic M$ BS that has
no meaning, clicking any links provided lead you to "no
information can be found on that article" or something like
that, and the message is something really stupid like "the
indicated program stopped unexpectedly". Well
duuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhh. But on some rare occasions it may list a
Service involved that could not be started (if a Service was
needed at that time), or error messages with USEFUL info like
file names, but ALONG WITH an explanation.

Otherwise, don't go there because you could drive yourself
crazy looking at hundreds of "Error" and "Warning" messages.
LOL! Every XP PC has them, and most are of no consequence and
happen silently in the background.

Hello again ... Thinking about my "Computer Care" folder, I
might ask, "What are 'Administrative Tools' for and who uses
them?"
The tools include the following: Component Services, Computer
Management, Data Sources (ODBC), Event Viewer, Microsoft .NET
Framework 1.1 Configuration, Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1
Wizards, Performance, and Services.

They seem very sophisticated that only someone sophisticated in
computer technology might answer :-). --- Harold
