Well, this host has basically given ALL of the control for the group to the owner, including member verification (the server can check the headers to make sure each post actually comes from a member of the list. it will reject all others if I set it up for that). It's kinda cool to have this much control over everything and you'll see what I mean once we're done with the regular member tests. Still, I doubt it's something that we'll ever need to use. Incidentally, it's your browser that's giving up your IP number and ANY web site you visit can get that info from you unless you're using an anonymity server or proxy.
