Hi NS, It's freelists.ORG. I've discovered that this host supplies some web space that we can set up (to house some of those Files and Bookmarks). In fact, they expect us to use it for the list. Unfortunately, I don't yet know if there's a way to allow our members to upload stuff to it. The email message archives are located at //www.freelists.org/archives/pctechtalk/, btw Thanx for the nice compliment. It's VERY much appreciated, especially coming from you. :O) Peace, G Man ----- Original Message ----- From: "nightsneak" <nightsneak@xxxxxxxxxx> To: "PCTT owners" <pctechtalk-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, December 09, 2001 3:36 AM Subject: Re: Freelists group has been approved. NO files or bookmarks....hmmm....guess you are gonna have to get that PCTechTalk site up...... Let me talk to my boss. I am cutting ties on my site for professional reasons I will leave untold. I have all the databases, as I put them all together, along with the upkeep. I run the site, and my boss has the server. All the stuff is in my name, but I am letting it go. Let me see what we can work out. Quite possibly we can substitute the PCTechTalk site with my site. (My domain name expires in February, we could target for then.) Of course, I don't expect it to be in my name : ) but I got a 'lil pull with the owner of the server. I will tell you now tho, that you have got to have a domain name. Once you have that, you could even run your own list, although I don't like the limitations on that. I meant exactly what I said. Thank you for having this list, for being the person that you are, and for caring enough about your list and your members, moderators, newbies, anybody else who benefits from your hard work. nightsneak To unsubscribe, send an email to pctechtalk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field.
