The response about restoring one's PC back to its original state was directed at Lionel since he asked specifically about the consequences of using his Recovery Disks. -----Original Message----- From: pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pctechtalk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Bob Crews Sent: Wednesday, February 09, 2005 7:02 PM To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: reformating hard drive. I also have SP2 and still do not have the back up. Besides, if I want to return my pc back to what it was when I first got it, i'd use the 2 CD's that came with the pc. I use the restore in my pc to return my pc back to what it was at a earlier date. Not to make the pc as it was when it was brand new. If I did that then I'd loose everything I have put onto my pc. Making it like it was when I first bought it is not what I want. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jerry" <jebarr@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, February 09, 2005 6:27 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: reformating hard drive. > Hmmmm..
