Sorry, cristy... I have not been following this thread and am only = reading this now. Excuse the duplication if I say something someone else = said already. The Normal.dot file should be located here: C:\Documents and Settings\*user*\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates Where it says *user*, that should be the user account you're using in = XP... the same name you would see at the top when you click the START = button and the menu opens up.
