they are rechargable batteries - and they charge when they're in the cradle! I
love it! knock on wood - mines been working for probably close to a year now.
One of my son's friends said he replaced his batteries about every 6 months.
You can use regular batteries too if you want. No clue how long they would
last. I was replacing my microsoft batteries about once/week. I was NOT a happy
camper.
I don't believe they have called dell yet - since her husband didn't believe
her that it was doing it. now - in my house, I would be the one calling dell -
regardless of whos computer it was - but not in their house....
I haven't heard from them yet to know if they tried putting a mouse on it or
not. They should have a mouse from their old computer that they can test it
with. I'll ask if they have considered calling Dell -

Hi Chris
No, you can have a mouse with a long tail.

Forgot about the mice's that have cradles. They weren't out yet when I got
mine.

How long does a charge last on them there mice's with a cradle?

Did you call Dell yet?
