thanks for the information everyone! 
I guess home user's aren't important enough to them at this point. 
my dell warrenty ran out in October - so it doesn't really affect me right now, 
unless I was to buy another Dell. I have to say, I love my Dell, and before 
hearing so many tech horror stories this past 6 months, I would have considered 
purchasing another one. Did price them though, and they don't seem to be the 
good value that they were when I purchased mine though.
