Judith, you minimize the font while you are viewing it by 
clicking on the "minus" sign up on the far right corner. Just 
like you minimize any Windows application.

Ahhhhhhh I thought you squished the fonts somehow (LOL).  As you 
can tell I am not a fontaholic.  Glad I'm not after reading the 
article in about.com.  Don't want my computer slowed down.

Had this happen on my old laptop which only had 100K boosted to 
200K.  Probably wouldn't slow this computer down but I only use 
two or three fonts now in my work.

Although I did look into how to make fonts -- I like the 
creative part of it.  Think it would be fun to create some that 
look like embroidery or quilt type fonts.  And maybe even ones 
created from painted flowers.  Well sometime maybe I will do 
this (smile).
