Was testing something the mods are working.

For ZoneAlarm, check the program list and see if IE is listed in there, and
what permission it has. Also, when you're being blocked, does the ZA icon by
chance change to a red lock?

Troth,
What are you testing? By the way, Zone Alarm blocked everything again
after about a minute.

Mike,
I had given it permission when asked and told it to remember. Went into
program control and it had green check marks on net access, but question
marks on the server portion. Changed those and it seems to
be working now. By the way, my browser's Firefox, don't use IE.

Thanks bunches, Jo Ann

Hi Jo Ann,
you have to give IE permission to access the internet trough the firewall

Open Zone Alarm click on the Program Control tab
Click on Programs>
Internet Explorer click on the ? mark in the Trusted and Allow
click on the ? mark in the Internet and Allow

You will need to do this for any programs you wish to allow access to the=
  www.

I hope this helps
