Well, I don't know what to tell you now. The behavior sounds like ZA is
stopping traffic because of too much repetitive activity, but I don't see 4
or 5 webpage changes or typical consumer email activity sufficient to
trigger such a lockout.
I would suggest downloading a different firewall and see if you get the same
problem. I would also suggest visiting the ZA forums wherever they may be
and see if anybody there can help.
Is it possible you have a worm or virus doing things in the background and
ZA is detecting that traffic and locking down the internet?
I don't use ZA anymore so I can't really go beyond these generalities.
Don
Don,
In the program section, both my browser and e-mail are set to allow access.
I have adjusted all the settings I can find. I even turned off the e-mail
protection, since Norton's takes care of it anyway. It will let me load
three or four pages, when I first connect, then it simply gives the message,
www.google.com or whatever could not be found. As soon as I turn off ZA
everything loads all right. Also after a few minutes, it won't let my e-mail
connect.
