If this is being caused by anything on my computer, why is it only email
from the group that is affected. I get email from 2 dozen Yahoo groups, a
Google group, two or three tech newsletters and gazillions of SPAM servers
and none are affected.

I sent a bcc of an earlier message in this current thread direct to your
email addy. Your reply appears to be from the list copy. Did the lines
appear in the bcc? Would you please reply to the bcc direct to my email
addy? That might give us a totally worthless clue, but if your reply
appears in my inbox without the lines it would go a long way in eliminating
everything between my keyboard and your keyboard, including my ISP and
security software.
