I actually just downloaded the new version now, so I can tinker with it
again.

Yeah, I'm about to ask who it was that was using KJ successfully. I=20
can't get it to work with Poco -- maybe I'll have to call that=20
person!! Poco will allow me to specify the directory where the=20
signature file is -- it will generate a signature, but it doesn't=20
change each time I open a new e-mail. KJ is working fine, I can see=20
it change the quote....but Poco doesn't pick it up! I'm frazzled. =20
I'll head for bed and try again in the morning. It just shouldn't be=20
this hard..........maybe I'm getting old <laugh>

  |
  | Update on the Kookie Jar signature program.
  | As I got into it, I remember testing this some years ago. This
  | is a=3D20 far more sophisticated program than it was when I last
  | looked at it.
  |
  | It is NOT intuitive.....or at least not after learning the=20
SigMan
  | <G> =3D20 To me, Sigman is much easier to set up. Too many=20
unusual
  | terms in=3D20 Kookie Jar. I have to learn the language before I
  | can begin to run=3D20 it.=3D20
  |
  | I just spend about three hours editing my signature file,
  | cleaning it=3D20 up. Too bad neither Sigman or Kookie Jar can
  | import or use the=3D20 signature file of the other program. The
  | good news is that editing is=3D20 far easier in Kookie Jar then it
  | is in SigMan. Kookie Jar has a neat=3D20 feature that will sort
  | the signature alphabetically when you load it=3D20 in the editor.
  | That means you can find dups instantly (or near dups).=3D20 Out of
  | 1100 signatures, I found probably 100 dups. The actual=3D20
  | editing was also much faster/easier in Kookie Jar. The file was
  | due=3D20 for a cleanup anyway.
  |
  | There are some quirks that I'm not sure about. In Sigman the
  | random=3D20 generator provides a new signature every few seconds.
  | In KJ, it looks=3D20 like the minimum time is one minute. That=20
may
  | be OK, but it sounds=3D20 slow which "could" give dups if I do a
  | couple of e-mails in a row=3D20 quickly. There's some other=20
quirks
  | but I guess I'll figure it out.
  |
  | The signature file is done now....so I have to figure out how to
  | make=3D20 it work........<sigh> This is gunna be tough <chuckle>
  | I think I'm=3D20 getting too old for this!
  |
  | The good news is I'm listening to the oldies music channel on
  | the=3D20 satelite and I'm groovin' here <chuckle.
  |
  | At least groovin' as much as a 57 year old can groove while
  |   working on=3D20 a computer <G>=3D20
