ok, so then what makes that box pop up, is it my AVG or security settings on my computer? And by clicking "no" does that prevent the virus from downloading?--Glo ----- Original Message ----- From: Mike To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Friday, June 06, 2003 7:41 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: JS Fortnight B Trojan Hi Glo, Yes that is what it is supposed to do. Is this what you're talking about, how this worm is delivered? --Glo ----- Original Message ----- From: Mike To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2003 7:40 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: JS Fortnight B Trojan Hi Rose, Norton's probably caught it. If i recall correctly it came from a scrip on a web page, or sig file. The Critical update will prevent it from getting through, by fixing the glitch in IE, if it is in place before the infection attempts to get you. Use plain text, disable html in your email program, and on your groups settings. Mike ~ It is a good day if I learned something new.
