Terry, Yes, that's your Java. And if it's the only one showing, it means you haven't been keeping up with Java's updates and your system has been exposed to a number of vulnerabilities for quite some time. I hesitate to tell you to uninstall it until we know that you can download the latest version and install it as a replacement. So, hold off for now, but write that down on your 'List of things to fix once my computer is clean". If you don't already have such a list, now would be a perfect time to start one. :O) Happy Holidays, Gman "The only dumb questions are the ones we fail to ask" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terry from Montana" <wannalearn@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 04, 2009 5:24 PM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Can't update anti virus more info > Not sure if this is Java: JzSE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6 > It appears to be the only thing installed. --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
