Thanks for the recommendation. I will give those two a shot. I am still using both QuickTime and Real player. Does the Real player alternative work with the protected music files (.rmx I believe)? ****************Reply Separator***************** From: Gman <gman.pctt@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: Apple Software Update Date: Sat, 24 Jan 2009 15:37:49 -0500 I kicked Quicktime to the curb a long time ago and now use Quicktime Alternative instead. It uses the Classic Media Player as its window to any Apple based files (.mov, .qt, etc.) I wish to play (be sure to select that player during the install). I've done the same thing with Real Player. http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm http://www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm Peace, Gman "The only dumb questions are the ones we fail to ask" --------------------------------------------------------------- Please remember to trim your replies (including this sentence and everything below it) and adjust the subject line as necessary.
