You are good neighbors! Been there, done that with family.
I tried uninstalling AVG but received an error message that directed me
to Grisoft tech support, so I've emailed them. Hopefully I'll get a
response. It took over three hours to download the Avast, but it's
ready to install as soon as I get rid of AVG.
Thanks for all you help. I'll keep you posted with my progress or lack
thereof!
