Phil, What windows version are you using? All except XP can use a memory
manager program. It does not make any difference how MUCH memory you have.
I had Windows ME and 730+megs or Ram and I could sit there on the
internet...surfin and watch the Resources drop to nothing...and lock up! A
memory manager helped but still it stopped while the manager was cleaning up
the memory.

Win95,98 and Me all have this same problem. XP does not. I now have two XP
machines and gave my son the WinME and the memory manager.

In fact if you go over the 512 meg limit, you will most likely have "out of
memory errors" even if running only one program.

yours
shubert
