All these plastic bins are leeching pollutants into the waterways when it rains, but who cares!?

We have four seperate bins, but in reality we have 6 bins because fortnightly collections (2 each week) are not frequent enough, hence we have 2 garden waste bins and 2 glass/plastic/tin recycling bins as well as the household waste bin and the paper and cardboard bin.

The front Garden looks unsightly with all these bins but now way will I have them round the back.

Here in Cambridgeshire earlier this year we were supplied with just two wheelie bins. One for all recyclable material and one for food and garden waste. Previously we had to separate out the recyclable material - glass, metal, paper and cardboard. So as far as we are concerned it is an improvement.

We're all at work when our 4 different bins are emptied.

How is the bin man, IQ of -5 going to be able to sign my manifest that I spent 3 hours preparing the night before.

And what Bout some 'quid-pro-quo' and get the bin men putting the bins back exactly where they found them.

Every week I have to get out of my car at the end of my driveway and move the bins out of the way

No Jack. I am not winding you up. Like so much from the EU it is only too real. I get this stuff from a tame bureaucrat I know by the name of Simon. He has risked his job to get these "tit-bots" out to me.

What load of bollocks! I don't believe a word of it - it will be completely unworkable. Are you winding us up Guy? Remember what happened to the that idea of listing all the energy saving attributes of a house when selling?
