Sam -

Just FYI, on Skippy you also need to look at the transparency which shows only
50 - 60%. Probably the right call to cancel. Sorry I couldn't be more active
through the afternoon.

Terri, 7 of our 8 weather forecasting sites show too cloudy to have the star
party. But Skippy Sky says clear. I will not be driving that far to attend when
the forecasters show such bad skies (25-50% cloud cover). However, if other
people want to keep the star party on and they will attend, because the sky
overhead isn't looking too bad right not, that is ok too. Take care, Sam

Don, what are the different sites showing?

After this event is done, the weather watching list serv will be used for these
discussions, but for today, let's finish out our discussion about today's event
and then we will use the designated list serv for conversations about weather.

And if anyone wants to get on that list serv just for knowing what the weather
discussion is going to be, let me know and i'll invite you. The main Star tours
group should be on it, so we don't bother the rest of the members with the
weather for events. its not just for the weather watchers, but anyone
monitoring the weather for our events. just to keep the info off the main list
serv for the club.

So, if you aren't a PAStimes Star Tour member and you want to be on the weather
discussion list, let me know and i'll get an invite sent to you.

the star tours group will get the invite probably tomorrow. i'm exhausted right
now.

The satellite pics do show clouds moving down from the north...since we are in
Carefree they might get there in a few hours.

Now that I have seen those we might want to cancel.

I don't think we will get much rain but we might get some from those northern
clouds.

William is driving home, called to say that it is clear over head but the
horizon has some scary clouds forming.

Don, what you do see coming up from the South?
This is what the weather forecasters were telling me this morning,, all is
good until evening when the clouds and isolated thunderstorms could happen.
That's why we need to know what we are doing... and Howard, needs an answer,
and i need one to know what i'm doing.

Wiliam is picking up the Sonic from the shop. We are returning the Monster
Truck, kept it almost 2 weeks for the 2 recall issues on the Sonic.

Mike is vehicle-less and hitching a ride from Ofelia tonight.

What is the call?
On or off?
I will leave it up to the team.
Just go with what the majority of the weather sites tell us...

too cloudy or possible rain, we cancel.
clear, and we have it.

I await your input. My weather station still says rain today.
i know the rain hasn't gotten here yet, I've been monitoring outside, but if
rain is coming our way, we should cancel.
