Paul, Bookmans opens at 9 am, so it is a possibility if PVCC doesn't want us
there, but I am hopeful Terri will be able to get us on the PVCC campus for
this event since we
did it there 10 years ago. Another thought, if we have lots of scopes, is to
have it at both places. A few years ago we did a partial solar ecplise at
Bookmans and at PVCC Blk Mtn.
Thanks for the idea Paul. Sam

If PVCC does not allow PAS to have this event on campus would Bookman's be
interested in letting PAS host this event in their parking lot?

Sunrise should be around 5:30 am on May 9th
That gives 2 hours for the sun to clear the buildings if we actually start
viewing around 7:30 am. Sam

Alex The first classes start at 8 am so maybe arrive at 7 am and then setup so
students can observe on the way to their first class. Also, this would give the
public a chance to view it on their way to work.
