Chris, think I could cope with that.
But wouldn’t they be well and truly cooked being boiled, fried and braised,
guess that softens the bones to make them palatable.
You have to admire how other nationalities utilise every bir of an
animal....waste not want not. Just all depends on our cultures and what we are
brought up with. I like tripe and onions not that I have had it for years but
eating chook feet can’t be worse than eating a stomach lining, 🤔😜🤣🤣

Julia, it's typically a multi-step process.
Boiled, then fried/deep-fried, then braised/steamed.
The last step usually with a black bean or yellow bean sauce.

Chris, do you remember how they were cooked! Suppose it really is no
different to eating chicken wings and the parsons nose once you get your
head around it, I saw Agi, the butcher yesterday and asked what they did
with the feet but my Spanish which is more Spanglish only got soup and the
fact it was good re collagen.

LOL. Pretty sure I was the one who suggested the chicken feet.
One of my favourite dim sum dishes.

I’d freak out too, Julia. Especially over that pig head. When we had the
food fest at Terry Matte’s some years ago, for one of the meals we had dim
sum at a Chinese restaurant. One of the dishes was chickens’ feet. I’m
sure that I had an ugh-y face when I tried one—the fatty part in the
middle. It tasted like plain fat, and that was eNOUGH for me!

Not sure if this will be accepted but been in touch with Vicki who has
resized the pics for me. Was in Super Turre yesterday at the butcher
counter. This is Agi who teaches me Spanish and I teach him English. I
was freaking out over the pig head and chook feet,🤔😱😜
