Hi Estela
I do like Indian food, but only every six months or so. I like to use a Naan
bread to mop up the sauce rather than having with rice.
Anything cooked in a tandoor is great - I like to get a mix of marinated meats.
Butter Chicken (Murg Makhani) is a favourite of Jens – not spicy at all, but it
should be tender with a creamy flavoursome sauce (actually made with tomato and
cashew nut puree, not butter that I’m aware of). I can’t specifically see it
on the menu, though there is a vegetarian/Dal dish that looks interesting. Of
course, Indian vegetarian is renowned given many are vegetarians.
For spice, a vindaloo of choice.
Madras, Tikka masala, Korma are all nice flavour dishes.
I’m not sure how the spice rates – here in Oz, spice in Indian (likewise in
Thia/Viet) is dialled down considerably for the masses…
I like a medium to hot indian spice that builds continuously until one is
sweating copiously by the end of the meal. Beverage of choice is Cerveza (
Kingfisher I have tried) or a Mango Lassi to cool the heat.
Enjoy
Cheers
Steve

That all sounds great Kelly. I have fat-free sour cream which is very rich and
would go well...or even Greek yoghurt which is very thick.
I might make this for my solo Christmas eve dinner to accompany the leg of lamb
and roast veggies.
I originally thought of ordering out for Indian food, but I'll save that for
New Year's eve. In fact, I was studying the menu today, and it's completely
overwhelming, I know little about Indian food.
Here's the link of the place I'm going to order from...please people, help me
figure out what to order. Everything is in English as well as Spanish. I like
medium hot, and prefer shrimp or chicken to red meat. Money is no object, in
fact if there are no suggestions, I'd be inclined to just order the most
expensive things on the menu and cross my fingers.

Does anyone make this? Is it worthwhile? Being diabetic, it would be great to
have a potato substitute.
I would be inclined to nuke the cauliflower flowerettes, then mash them with
EVOO (I don't use butter or salt). Is there any more to it than that?
