I haven't turned off the spam filter. I don't know how to do that but I'll
put up with it if that's the only solution there is.

Hi Rosie and Sue, I know this is not the solution you would rather have, but
have you turned off your spam filter, because you may not be getting that
much spam if you don't have a web site like I do, but I never even bother
with the spam folder, or filter, or whatever it is called, because of this
very thing you both are experiencing, needed messages going in to the spam
folder, just put up with the spam, and delete it, or bounce it back to where
it came from, if you have such a feature in your email program, just a
thought.

Some of the messages from this list are going into the spam folder. I tried
marking them as not spam on the gmail site but to no avail. What could I be
doing wrong? I posted this question to a couple of tech groups I'm on but
