Thanks, Rosie. Part of my confusion was that I thought the Scott McKenzie song
you put up was actually an album. I didn’t know you were just putting up the
single “Like An Old Time Movie” which is on his “San Francisco” album. Don’t
know if there’s enough interest in that one once I get onto the Open Drive.
Thanks to Ray B., I now know I need to look at my system tray to see if I can
find it there. But, yeah, this has been the week from hell!
I’m certainly glad you got the burner problem solved in terms of ripping CD’s
into mp3’s! My favorite program for that is mp3 ripper, but there are so many
others out there. I did have CDEX for awhile until they started putting a lot
of stuff on it that I wasn’t gonna use.

you'll have a huge credit card bill--ouch! I'm sorry you lost your ID too. I was
having a problem with ripping Cd's too but I got it solved. I have to go into
the CDDVD drive to do it. I didn't have to do that in wondows 7.

Hi Rosie,
I’m okay, and my computer just got massively confused. $130 later, the problems
are solved. I’m just gonna have a big huge credit card bill next month, and
plus my electric blanket went out so I’ll have to get a new one of those.
Additionally, when I went to the Walgreen’s drive-through window to pick up a
medication yesterday, they sort of tucked my state ID in with the prescription
but not thoroughly and the ID got lost. My friend and I will have to go to
Department of Motor Vehicles tomorrow early and stay there till a number they
give me will be called to get a picture taken for a new state ID! Oh joy!
I still don’t have Open Drive installed. I didn’t want to pay the computer
repair shop any more than necessary so didn’t ask about that issue. I’ll see if
I can install it. Maybe, maybe not. My aide might be able to help me, though
as she knows quite a bit about computers.
