Thanks. Yes, one of the first things I did was to call the pharmacy to see if
my ID had been turned in, but it hadn’t been. Ann looked through the car,
through the trash (I’d thrown the prescription paperwork and other stuff in the
recycle bin), on my bedroom floor, dresser and bed, and we both looked through
my purse. I think I have four pieces of valid stuff I can show them, though I
know requirements vary from state to state in terms of how many pieces of ID you
have to bring. If I had to bring ID’s with pictures on them, however, that
would be a different story! Yikes! Maddening, and it all could have been
prevented so darned easily.

I’m glad your back. Yikes, I sure know about big computer bills.Sorry to hear
your electric blanket broke. If I might offer a suggestion, before you go for a
new ID, maybe you could call the farmacy to see if anyone might have found your
ID. FYI I lost mine once and was told I would have to bring in four documents
with my name and address on it to prove I was who I said I was. I’m just
telling you that incase you weren’t aware of that. Take care.

Hi Rosie,
I’m okay, and my computer just got massively confused. $130 later, the problems
are solved. I’m just gonna have a big huge credit card bill next month, and
plus my electric blanket went out so I’ll have to get a new one of those.
Additionally, when I went to the Walgreen’s drive-through window to pick up a
medication yesterday, they sort of tucked my state ID in with the prescription
but not thoroughly and the ID got lost. My friend and I will have to go to
Department of Motor Vehicles tomorrow early and stay there till a number they
give me will be called to get a picture taken for a new state ID! Oh joy!
I still don’t have Open Drive installed. I didn’t want to pay the computer
repair shop any more than necessary so didn’t ask about that issue. I’ll see if
I can install it. Maybe, maybe not. My aide might be able to help me, though
as she knows quite a bit about computers.
