We don't have metalink support, but it was on the first 9i release.
It happened when I flashed back one table, recovered it, and I tried to
flashback again and then I couldn't, as if I would had done a ddl
modification.
Remember we don't apply patches in the database, so I think you will not
have this problem.

Other important thing is to know as I read 10g, allow full database
flashback.
