Vim for windows (gvim) gets my vote as best editor - why use vim in one place when you can use it in either place? ;) (granted I haven't used EditPadPro) Chris Taylor "Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of intelligent effort." -- John Ruskin (English Writer 1819-1900) Any views and/or opinions expressed herein are my own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Ingram Industries, its affiliates, its subsidiaries or its employees. -----Original Message----- From: oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:oracle-l-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jared Still Sent: Wednesday, July 18, 2012 2:04 PM To: kevin.lange@xxxxxxxxxx Cc: michaeljmoore@xxxxxxxxx; Jeff Chirco; Guillermo Alan Bort; oracle-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: [QUARANTINE] Re: PL/SQL Development Tool Of Choice On Tue, Jul 17, 2012 at 2:49 PM, Lange, Kevin G <kevin.lange@xxxxxxxxxx>wrote: > If its like the editor I use, EditPadPro, it just has syntax checker / > highlighter. I've developed a fair bit of SQL/PLSQL/bash/Perl scripting using this environment. Not everyone likes it, which is fine, use what you are comfortable with. I just happen to be comfortable with vi/sqlplus. :) SQLDeveloper is also an excellent tool, though personally I use it for exploration, not too much for development.
