Yes, I believe you are correct and the pattern has been set. It is
also what is referred to by some as 'gravity'.
(It just is and it is not going to go away, so one expects that it will
get better).

This is just like 8.0, 9.0, 10.1 and 11.1... Oracle never gets it quiet
right on the first release... then when R2 comes out... it's all good
