Hi,
1- you can use ASM to mirror your data on the remote site, mainly by using a
'failover' disk group. It's very easy to setup.
2- striping: ASM will always stripe data on all the devices of a given disk
group, not across disk groups.

Hello Madhu

Can you please clarify why you need the second set in the second data
center.
I can see two possibilities:
1) You have one RAC node in each center, so each node will access the
local copy.
2) You need it for recovery.

If it is the second case then you should check also using SAN
replication, controller to controller, and keep your system simple.
