Right about what a signature guide is.
Bye for now,

I have also signed something using a signature guide and the Optacon assuming
that a signiture guide is what I suppose it to be; a frame that helps one to
locate the signing area.
BTW, signing of official documents has remarkably decreased due to electronic
"signing" by logging in to services using your Internet bank codes or your
electronic ID card. Have never used my ID card for signing in to any e-service.
But this is not the case everywhere. We will probably never get rid of all
printed documents that require signing. Once again, no other device than the
Optacon is able to help one when locating the signing area of a printed
document.
Bye also here from now,
Jyrki

Gracie, you can use a signature guide. Sign your name. Leave the guide
right there, unless it is very thick. Put your Optacon camera on where
you signed. I think you could be surprised that you probably sign with
pretty large characters. The Optacon helped me to be aware of that and
work at reducing the size of my signature letters. I always check to make
sure that a pen is writing before attempting a signature, so that would
be done on a scrap of paper, or even on your practice paper, so long as
you don't get your signature onn the spot where you made sure that the
pen was writing. I never give or send a check without checking it and the
signature with my Optacon. I just about feel more handicapped without an
Optacon even probably more than without a computer. That is to say, if I
had to give up my computer or my Optacon, it would be my computer.

A long time ago, I used the Optacon to sign documents, and it would be
good
to do that again, but I've forgotten the trick of it.
I'd like to practice, before I try signing something important.
How have others practiced this skill?
Thanks.
