I'm afraid I feel that this is a rather unfortunate comment. Just because he is sighted, one cannot assume that he doesn't know what the Optacon is used for. Obviously, he came to this users list because he was looking for feedback on those who use it. regarding the user's manual, I thought I had read on the postings on this list, that Freedom Scientific has the manual on its web site. Or was it on the archives for this list? I thought someone else would have already given that information.
