Actually, the more advanced training materials have samples from magazines, newspapers, and computer code, including some Boolean symbols such as various math symbols. I looked at this book after printing it out and it still looks quite relevant. I'm not sure how easy it would be to immitate the book formats, because they have a solid line down the middle of each page; the right side contains material for the student, and the left side has material for the instructor.
