[opendtv] Re: PCI 5th gen test

The numbers are related to the receiver yes. All reception was rock 
solid accept for 12 and 53 both of which I did not receive at all on the 
STB last tested. By moving the antenna 13% or so to the right of the ESB 
I was able to pull in 53 solid at 94%.40 was solid at 87-88%. These 
numbers also did not vary as much as on the STB though viewing results 
were similar. That is if I got 91-100% on the STB the figure would vary 
up and down very fast while with the PCI card the percentage figures 
seemed very fixed. Had to watch for a moment or so to see any change.

Didn't do any walking around. The antenna is on the balcony, directional 
dual bow tie. Could bring it inside and walk around it some. No point 
really since the real test is at Mark's. My apartment has line of sight 
and I am much closer to the ESB. Again I am very optimistic with this 
PCI card.
