Years ago, many OBOL subscribers, particularly in rural areas, had slow dial-up
connections; photos posted to the list slowly dragged in, pixel by pixel,
sometimes taking as long as 45 minutes.
Times have changed! Not one OBOL subscriber now reports having dial-up.
Therefore, the OBA Board and I have decided to lift the ban on posting photos.
We do ask that you limit yourself to ONE PHOTO per post.
We have a few subscribers who report having slow DSL lines and we would like
those folks to stay in touch with us and let us know how the new policy affects
them. If it causes anyone take a hammer to their monitor, we will quickly
revisit the policy.
