One question for the OP, should anyone have his contact info, would be
where he saw this bird. He described it as east of Metzger middle. There is
not, however, a school by that name. There is a Metzger elementary and a
twality middle in Metzger, and I had assumed he was talking about the
latter, but it looks like David et al interpreted that differently.

We did have a Say’s Phoebe make a brief appearance around the garden plots
at the northwest corner of the athletic field right along Locust St. We
were in the area from 7:20AM until about 9:25. The phoebe was seen for
about a minute or so about 8:30 then disappeared.
We found no berry trees or any obvious food source (other than the
worm-filled lawn) that might attract a flock of robins.
