Linda and I, joined for awhile by Em S. spent three hours of wandering the
neighborhood, a near by cemetery and the school giving us no joy. This was from
appx. 10 am until 1 pm. We did most of this from the very slow moving car in
order to get the greatest coverage of the surrounding neighborhood.
There were perhaps 125 or more Robins in the cemetery grounds and all were
checked out. The numbers dwindled after noon when a second pass found perhaps
50. The cemetery is "Crescent Grove" and is on Greenburg rd. just past SW
Locust.
It provided by far the most Robin viewing and seems the only other large grassy
area other than the school yard.
We left Em and another birder continuing to search on foot.
Good luck searchers!
