In Deschutes County (like Morrow County in Eastern Oregon, though the
surrounding habitat is quite different) Yellow-breasted Chats have been a lot
more common in the last 5 or so years than ever before. It was an extremely
rare bird in the 80s and 90s and now can be found in a few select locations
every year. They have also been turning up in areas that had never had them
before as well.
