I don’t know whether this is still valid:
https://davechen.net/2017/01/slack-user-limit/
Short hand: Last 10K messages can be read on the free veresion. But up to 5,000
users before they felt pain, and a hard limit of 8,500.
The 10K is published. The 5,000 and 8,500 is not something I can find from
slack, limiting my search to 42 seconds.
Before we adopt slack, someone should verify that what I just typed (or better)
seems to be correct.

The only latent concern I have is whether the Slack free plan will be
sufficient to accommodate us. IIRC, it's kind of expensive otherwise.

I vote Slack. It’s not that it is just a collaboration platform, but offers so
many other unique features that I have heavily utilized. I guess that makes me
a Slacker :)

Oh, regarding ongoing messaging:
- I think there is general discomfort with the public nature of freelists
- there is also discomfort with using Facebook Groups, primarily from the
standpoint of not wanting to have a Facebook account
A few years ago we tried Slack. Is it time to try it again? I believe we still
have the domain registered.

The only thing going/gone away is the website. The domain is secure, and we
have enough residual funds to reserve it until most of us are dead :)
I agree, we should replace it with a simple WP holding page, preferably a free
one since we can then easily keep it going without the complications of
funding, interest from tax authorities, etc, now that Oaktable is a free spirit
once more without an encapsulating corporation.
Will need volunteers to put that together - would anyone like to put their name
in the hat?
Thanks

@contactprivacy.email is an obfuscated and tokenized email address for the
actual registrant, perhaps as part of a privacy service?

A more important and immediate question right now is: Who actually owns the

Should we be concerned about the information here:

which says google all over?
