I'm not a very good coder, and this is beyond me. But couldn't one
hook in Nv speech player to the new EspeakNG instead of the older
Espeak?

Hello.
I have noticed that there is a new bug with the NV Speech Player in the
latest NVDA. The speech does not sound correct. I think that this issue
appears because of the new e speak NG that comes with NVDA.
If you like, I can record NV Speech Player so you can here what it's
sounding like.
