Mike,
I may be cynical, but I don’t think the City really intends to incentivize
people to change from impermeable to permeable driveways. We have what I
believe is on if the most permeable driveways you can have, loose gravel,
and it is still counted by the City as an “impermeable” surface. I’m not
sure what could make the list of gravel doesn’t.

Thanks so much, Peter. Timing is actually probably good in that I still
need to plan but yeah, I would only hope for some type of supplement for
the plantings.
The program is a good start but should be continually improved- such as
listing ways of changing an impermeable driveway to a permeable one, etc.

Yes!
I have a two-car length underground garage that could be turned into a
cistern to store stormwater.

Thanks Peter- quick question about the storm water fee- will there be any
incentive to create storage or filtration on private properties? I have an
area of my yard that would be good for this…
Good job finding the map issue!!
