The propensity for IBM & many mac users to use spreadsheets for database work is simply a throwback from "Lotus" days. Databases can do all the mathematical functions of spreadsheets, usually taking up less memory & can certainly do more effective sorting & other manipulations. Here endeth my rant for the day.
