Please note that Appleworks 5.04 does not translate Excell without the
assistance of MacLinkPlus and will only translate to an AW spreadsheet
file. The propensity for IBM & many mac users to use spreadsheets for
database work is simply a throwback from "Lotus" days. Databases can do
all the mathematical functions of spreadsheets, usually taking up less
memory & can certainly do more effective sorting & other manipulations.
Here endeth my rant for the day.
